Summer Lotus is an entirely tropical display of mango and guava that brings out a thick and creamy mouthfeel, making for a very prominent feature of this beer. A small touch of lactose provides a background of lingering sweetness that is present but not overbearing.

Summer Lotus is a refreshing example of a fruited sour with a balanced acidity, a moderate carbonation and a light pithy finish - perfect for blissful summer days.

HOPS

Summer Lotus has been brewed without the use of dry-hopping. Omitting the dry-hop is normal for certain styles of beers that focus on malts, yeast or adjunct profiles.

In these beers, bittering hops are added in the kettle to provide a background of balanced bitterness.
